Native to Assam, eastern Himalayas, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan, Xizing and Yunnan provinces of China where it grows at elevations of 800-2500 m.
Can be grown intermediate to warm, partial shade, good air movement.
Pleasant fragrance (unusual for a bulbophyllum)
Easy to grow, recommend baskets or in pots with a fast draining medium. Keep somewhat drier in winter, regular watering when in active growth.
