Native to Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam, where it grows on deciduous trees, elevations 600-2000 m.
May also be sold as Bulbophyllum trongquyetii. The latter has smooth or sparsely papillose lateral sepals-but its quite likely they are just ecotypes. More work needs to be done!
Cool to warm, shade, good air movement, slightly drier in winter.
Quite variable in coloration. This is a delightful miniature, well worth adding your collection of miniature orchids!
